49ers' Interest In Former Pro Bowl Te Could Add To Growing Eagles Rivalry

BY Robert j. matthews

The San Francisco 49ers have a great tight end named George Kittle.

On Wednesday, it was reported that the team might want to add another star player at that position.

Zach Ertz, a three-time Pro Bowler, was let go by the Arizona Cardinals recently.

The Eagles, Niners, and Baltimore Ravens are among the teams interested in signing the 33-year-old.

Philly fans might get upset if the former Stanford and Arizona Cardinal decides to play for the Niners.

It's not just about the team being interested in him, but also about seeing an Eagles legend play for a rival team.

Ertz was picked by Philadelphia in the 2013 NFL Draft and played there for over eight seasons.

He went to the Pro Bowl every year for three seasons in a row from 2017 to 2019.
