3 medium bananas, peeled and sliced 1/4 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, soy, etc.) 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
Place the sliced bananas in a resealable plastic freezer bag. Squeeze out excess air and seal. Freeze overnight or until solid.
Add the frozen bananas and remaining ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down sides as needed.
Transfer the soft serve consistency to an airtight container and place in freezer for another 1-2 hours to firm up before serving.
Scoop into bowls and top with desired toppings like chopped nuts, chocolate chips, coconut flakes or fruit.
Very ripe, spotted bananas work best.
For creamier texture, add more milk of choice.
Blend in fresh fruit like strawberries or mango for flavor variety.
