Biggest Changes In The Uswnt's Games Since Hiring Emma Hayes

The U.S. women's national team is going through changes. Emma Hayes is still coaching Chelsea until the end of the WSL season in England.

This means that changes might not happen quickly before the 2024 Olympics.

However, she didn't coach or make important changes during the team's last two games in 2023 against China, which they won 3-0 and 2-1.

When selecting players for the USWNT's December camp, Hayes and interim manager Twila Kilgore chose the roster together, as Kilgore mentioned in a news conference.

The English coach flew from London to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to meet the U.S. players and staff before their 3-0 win on Saturday.

Hayes is starting to choose players and match them with their names.

A simpler and smoother alternative to the playing style of the USWNT in the World Cup.

Under the previous coach Vlatko Andonovski, and even under Kilgore in the post-World Cup games, the USWNT didn't have a clear plan for attacking.

Players often didn't know where to stand or where their teammates would be.

U.S. players working together to break through the defense, each player tried to charge their way through individually.
