Caitlin Clark Reaches 3,000-point Milestone In Historic Moment

Caitlin Clark scored over 3,000 points in her college career on Wednesday night. 

She made a 3-pointer in the third quarter of Iowa's 67-58 win against Iowa State.

Clark is now the 15th player in NCAA Division I women's basketball history to score 3,000 points.

She made history by being the first Division I player, in both men's and women's basketball, to achieve 3,000 points, 750 rebounds, and 750 assists. 

Clark scored the most points in the game, with 35. He made 12 shots out of 31 attempts and also got nine rebounds and five assists.

The important event happened in Ames, Iowa, which is only 41 miles from Clark's hometown of Des Moines.
