Jack Black, whose real name is Thomas Jacob Black, has spent most of his life acting in movies and TV shows.
Black started acting at 13 and was in a video game commercial. Since then, Black has become very successful in acting.
He has been in movies, TV shows, and voiced animated characters.
Black has acted in over 180 things and is well-known. Some people think that his role in Shallow Hal made him famous in 2001.
For others, his most famous role was Dewey Finn in the 2003 movie School of Rock.
If you haven't watched Black Star in a movie, you've probably heard his voice.
He has used his voice for famous animated characters such as Po in Kung Fu Panda and more recently, Bowser in The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
When he's not making or producing movies, Black performs in his band Tenacious D with actor Kyle Gass.
