Insider Fuels Davante Adams Trade Rumors

One person who knows a lot about the league thinks that Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams could be moved this season.

In February, Adams' college roommate and friend, QB Derek Carr, was let go by the Raiders.

After they gave Garoppolo a three-year, $72.75 million contract in March, he didn't seem happy about playing with the quarterback who often got hurt.

Also, the 30-year-old has never been to a Super Bowl, so he probably wants to play for a team that is good.

Last season, Las Vegas had a 6-11 record and didn't make the playoffs. It doesn't look like the team will get better.

BetMGM says that the Raiders will have the fewest wins in the AFC West in 2023.

Even though there would be a lot of teams interested in trading for the six-time Pro Bowler, the Raiders are not likely to do so.

Adams is in his prime, and last season he led the league in catching touchdowns with 14 in 17 games. Plus, his $25.35M cap hit in 2024 keeps teams from wanting to sign him.
