Lane Kiffin Introduces Himself To Penn State Fans

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin is quite active on social media, and on Tuesday he greeted Penn State football fans before the Peach Bowl.

Shortly after Penn State's defensive end, Chop Robinson, announced his decision to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, Kiffin sent a sincere message of congratulations.

Kiffin's friendly message showed that he was glad he didn't have to play against Robinson in the Peach Bowl on December 30th in Atlanta.

Robinson, who could be picked in the first round, said he won't play in the Peach Bowl so he can focus on getting ready for the draft.

This means that Kiffin doesn't have to get quarterback Jaxson Dart ready to face Robinson, who is a top player in the Big Ten.

Robinson got 7.5 sacks and caused two fumbles this season. He made a strip sack against Iowa and it helped us win 31-0 against the Hawkeyes.

Robinson's decision was probably the first news about Penn State's roster that Kiffin heard.

The Ole Miss coach, like Penn State coach James Franklin, has been recruiting since the bowl announcement.

He has left game preparation to his staff. During a teleconference, Kiffin asked Franklin about possible opt-outs.

He didn't know about Penn State's recent changes at offensive coordinator.
