Las Vegas Raiders are ready to make major offseason changes at the top position.

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN said that interim head coach Antonio Pierce and interim general manager Champ Kelly are unlikely to be promoted, hence the team may release a quarterback.

Garoppolo, who signed a three-year, $72.75M deal in March, was benched after a Week 8 loss to the Lions.

The raiders could deal the 32-year-old, but teams won't want a deteriorating player.

According to Over The Cap, releasing him after June 1 saves $13M in cap space.

In six games, the 25-year-old has completed 63.5 percent of his throws for 1,194 yards, four touchdowns, six interceptions, and a 34.5 QBR.

The Raiders are undecided about picking a QB in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Las Vegas should reconsider. Loaded 2024 class at QB. The top prospects are USC's Caleb Williams, NC's Drake Maye, and LSU's Jayden Daniels.

It looks like a great chance for the Raiders to uncover a new star.
