The Best Meatloaf Recipe

1 and 1/2 pounds of ground beef 1 minced onion 2 whole eggs 3/4 cup of dry breadcrumbs 1/2 cup ketchup plus extra for the topping 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup of milk 1 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Turn your oven on and preheat it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Take a large mixing bowl and mix together the ground beef, minced onion, eggs, breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, milk, salt, and pepper until everything is just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it either on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.

Brush some extra ketchup over the top of the meatloaf. This will make a nice glaze as it bakes.

Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy with mashed potatoes, gravy or a side salad!
