Two Michigan Football Players Make Cbs Sports All-american Team

Many Michigan players decided to return to Ann Arbor for one final season.

They aim to win the Big Ten Championship and even the National Championship.

That's what Blake Corum, Kris Jenkins, Trevor Keegan, Michael Barrett, Cornelious Johnson, Zak Zinter, and Mike Sainristil did.

All of them made a difference in the 2023 season and helped Michigan become Big Ten Champions for the third year in a row.

They also earned another opportunity to compete in the College Football Playoff.

Some of those players might become All-Americans this season, and CBS Sports already named two of them as All-Americans.

No Wolverines made the First-Team list, but Zak Zinter and Mike Sainristil were named Second-Team All-Americans by CBS Sports and 247Sports experts.

Zinter got hurt and can't play for the rest of the season after the game against Ohio State.

But he's still really important to the Michigan team. Zinter is a key player on the Wolverines' offensive line, which has won the Joe Moore Award two years in a row.

The guard is expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. It is not yet clear how his injury will affect his draft position.
