Why Hollywood stars are smoking again

Oscar Wilde praised cigarettes as the ultimate pleasure. Exquisite, yet unsatisfying. 

What else could one desire? Cinema embraced the sophisticated image of cigarettes for years. 

Sean Connery's iconic introduction as 007 in Dr No, lighting a Craven.

Accuse me of smoking? Hip films from the 90s like Pulp Fiction and Fight Club had main characters who smoked, making them popular. 

Growing up in the 90s was tough, with all the health warnings. Almost everyone I knew smoked when I was in university.

The world has changed a lot in 20 years. The 2007 indoor smoking ban made bars, pubs, and restaurants less welcoming to smokers. 

The government plans to gradually increase the legal smoking age with the aim of eventually prohibiting tobacco sales.
